1. Always on

These are needed for the site and the dashboard to work, or remember a choice you made. They do not need consent.

2. Analytics, only if you accept

On our marketing pages and the sign-in, sign-up and password pages we use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages help. It loads only after you choose Accept analytics in the cookie banner; until then no request is made to Google. Page addresses are sent without sign-in, invite or reset tokens. Google signals and ad personalisation are off.

Google Analytics never runs in the dashboard after sign-in, on hosted chat pages or in the chat widget.

2. Analytics, only if you accept
NamePurposeKind and duration
_gaDistinguishes visitors (Google Analytics)Cookie; 2 years
_ga_<id>Keeps the visit session state (Google Analytics)Cookie; 2 years

3. Changing your choice

Use Cookie settings at the bottom of any marketing page to accept or reject analytics at any time. If you reject after accepting, analytics stops and the Google Analytics cookies are deleted. You can also clear cookies and site data in your browser.

4. The chat widget on customers' sites

When a customer adds the Kothadesk widget to their site, it stores a random visitor identifier and the current chat session in the browser's local storage so that a conversation survives page loads. The customer is responsible for describing this in their own cookie notice. The widget sets no analytics or advertising cookies.

If we show a live demo of the widget on this website, it stores the same items for this site.
