Save with the Save button or Cmd/Ctrl+S. Live widgets pick up changes the next time a visitor loads a page.

Uploading, replacing or removing an image saves it straight away; your other unsaved changes stay unsaved. Uploaded images are checked (the file itself must be a PNG, JPEG or WebP; SVG is not accepted), their hidden metadata such as camera and location details is removed, and they are served from your API address, so a site with a Content-Security-Policy needs that address in img-src (the Install tab shows it).

The live preview

#

The preview is the real widget, showing your unsaved changes. Switch between desktop and mobile, a light or dark page, and any of the ten languages. Turn on Try it to get real answers: those messages go to the Playground as test conversations.

Languages

#

The widget's buttons and messages come in 10 languages: English, Hindi, Hinglish (romanised Hindi), Bengali, Assamese, Spanish, Arabic (right to left), French, German and Portuguese. The assistant's answers follow the visitor's own language and script separately.

  • By default the widget uses the visitor's browser language, falling back to the bot's language and then English.
  • Set a fixed language for the bot in Bot settings, or force one on a page with data-locale="hi" on the script tag.
  • On the hosted chat page, add ?locale=bn to the link.

Widget text: pick a language and replace any message with your own wording, for example the welcome text, offline messages, the live-support offer or the tool confirmation labels (up to 500 characters each). Empty fields use the platform text shown in grey. Button and screen-reader labels cannot be changed.
